What kinds of shots do you like?

I've had a few shoots for ladies profile/showcase pics (though none lately to be fair), and it's been more than once that a lady has shown up with really no idea of what she wants out of the shoot (other than "some good pics that make me money"). Now, photographers usually have some amount of sets, props, wardrobe to accommodate and usually some concept ideas as well. What I'm curious about is are there ideas or concepts or general looks and such that the women are hoping to get out of a shoot? Do you want a glam look? High fashion style? Fine art? Are you hoping for something creative/dramatic in the lighting? Or just good old fashioned flat lighting?

Now, the answer could be "I want to shoot what the guys want to see", so feel free to turn it around. I know we've had a few phone vs camera threads, so I'm not trying to go there again, just wanting to talk in the realm of an actual shoot. Originally Posted by maxim_232

A little of everything would be ideal, since different men have different tastes. Let's leave aside photos of their faces, which are sometimes left out for privacy reasons. Shots highlighting different parts of the body would be first on my list. I love tits but the ass is what really does it for me. Too many girls (or their photographers) tend to focus on the "best" part of her body and pay little or no attention to the rest.

On the subject of what they're wearing, I'd like to see more variety. I enjoy lingerie, bathing suits, costumes and stripper attire but I also like to see them dressed more casual. For example, I LOVE SweetTreat69's new lingerie photos (and the fact that some of them show off her bubble butt in all its glory), but one of my favorite pics of her from way back was just her in a tight-fitting T-shirt (with her colossal boobs any T-shirt will be tight) and a pair of pajama pants. It had that whole naughty coed vibe, which is sexy as hell.

Otherwise, you can't go wrong with chokers, stockings (preferably thigh-highs but garter belts are nice) and best of all GLASSES -whether the girl needs them or not!

I like to see shots that most represent the lady who will be opening the door when I get there. By that I mean, if you generally don't wear makeup for a session, be photographed sans makeup. If you don't own a matching bra and panty set, don't be photographed that way. Save those pics for paid shoots. I'm paying for the girl in the pics, not the one in the magazine.
