It’s really funny how triggered people get against folks who do not eat meat. I have never once heard someone harassing meat eaters for their food choices but BK starts selling Impossible burgers and ... not surprising just an observation ha Originally Posted by mountinlover

You know you're old when you remember Winkys.
I don't begrudge the plant eaters plants and it is amusing to see how this stuff triggers folks. It's unquestioned that these things are more environmentally sound that farming meat. It's also likely they are slightly better for you (they lose in salt and transfat and win in total fat, caloric content, and cholesterol). I had one. It didn't taste like "death" per se, but not something I'd repeat. I'm aware of my environmental footprint eating tasty cows and I'm okay with that. I'll hit the gym an extra day before forgoing meat for this stuff.

If I'm going to watch my arteries clog I want it to taste good!

Well, after seeing ads for this thing I decided to try it. I’m a BK fan. They’re saying it tastes like a beef Whopper. I’m here to tell you it doesn’t taste like anything. It tastes like a bun with condiments. They might as well leave it off. Who knows what it’s made of anyways.

Not a vegetarian option then. Kind of like the vegetable pot pie at Boston Market. (Flavored with chicken stock)

I've had some very tasty vegan burgers in my life. Haven't tried BKs and now after reading this, I doubt if I will. Originally Posted by sexymaid_69

AAhahahaha but most of ya'all fella's know that already!! Lol

This doesn't sound like my cup of tea, but I'd try it, why not? I'm glad vegans have found something like this. Capitalism will always provide what the public wants!

Iirc, BK had that one co.mercial that said "flat-top is my enemayy". They're not lying I guess.
