Is this for Hobbyists or Strip Club attendees?
I truly tried to read this thread and... I just got tired.
I'm with Kat on this one - go post your... stuff on the appropriate forum, Strip Clubs. You want to PROMOTE strip clubs, for um, whatever reason (wouldn't suggest you have any *personal* interest)... well okay... go ahead and initiate that discussion if you wish, I'll pick up the gauntlet. It's getting wearisome to read constant freaking posts to promote strip clubs and yourself, with Sixx having your back. St, Chris, are you tracking this? If not, I'll shoot a PM.
Gimme a damned break...
i find it funny that some ppl think any time whispers post a thread here that it is about the SC scene. I just looked back at the last 3 pages of threads...and most of his were in fact NOT about the SC's.
yes...one was about the great time had at a luncheon...many non sc regulars asked how to get invited.
one was specific about how to get invited...lady or gent ...why??? because some were obviously WANTING to attend.
but the other recent threads...one bout a recent ad for an acution...not sc related
one about name calling...not entirely related
one about him being an asshole.
one about an 'austin hobby group brunch'..dont think it mentioned SC's
and this one...that he did not even start...and it also appeared the OP of this thread was wanting to attend somthing herself.
forgot a few...
one about emotions...not sc related
one about guys opening up more...sc was mentioned...but it is something someguys could probably take from and apply to real life.
no WK for whispers...it appears he is used to defending himself. but the ol 'STFU' cuz you dont want to read about it...well dont open the thread then. its that simple.

I've started 41 threads in CoEd in over a year and only 8 were about strip clubs.....
I share opinions about a lot of things....
I rib Sixx about a lot but any insinuation he shows me favoritism or has my back is simply crap....
Kat: I feel compelled to start by asking what exactly I did, aside from posting what I thought were amusing comments on a hobby forum, to incur your wrath. Then again, I'm not sure that I have any interest in seeking explanations from someone who has never even met me, or spoken to me. I'm confused as to why a series light-hearted posts aimed at garnering a few laughs and bringing some fun back to the board would make you so angry. I can only assume that you're having a bad day/week, and taking your frustrations out here, so I will try not to get my feelings hurt.
With that said... if you don't like what's being posted on the board, change it.
If you're bored, find something provocative about which to fuel a forum discussion. Or post something completely ridiculous and silly.
If you're tired of seeing posts by Whispers and his "crew," then add some meaningful (or inane, whichever you prefer) topics to the mix and break up the monotony.
If you're tired of seeing posts by me, Britney and Taylor (or, the "Triumvirate*," as you called us), the same rule can apply here. Although, I do recall you, Roxy and Missy, as well as a few other providers, chiming in on a couple of our posts, and I quite enjoyed everyone's participation. I have no interested in monopolizing the board with discussions amongst only the three of us; we have plenty of opportunity to converse in private at our incall. The point of our discussion posts is to... well... invite discussion, whether it be benign chatter, witty banter, or heated debate.
It's obvious you're quite disenchanted with the thought of ECCIE being "dominated" by others in a way that doesn't exactly suit you. But can I ask you what the difference between "hobbyists" and "strip club attendees" is? Because... I can't really find a single one.
I have many hobbyist clients that frequent strip clubs. I know some strippers who are escorts. I know many escorts who used to strip (myself being one of them.) We hold hobby functions at strip clubs. I attend strip clubs for fun. There really isn't a defined line between the hobby and other areas of adult entertainment. Sure, some hobbyists prefer strippers to escorts. And they have their reasons. But some hobbyists prefer to keep company with escorts. Why is the latter acceptable, but not the former?
I'm sure many people know that Whispers and I have our fair share of back-and-forth here on the board. But if he wants to hang out at strip clubs and hand his hard-earned money to the confused little girls with Daddy issues, more power to him. I was one of those girls once, and I am grateful for the Whispers types in the world that helped get me through college and allowed me to do some pretty amazing things in my young life.
With that in mind, I scanned back to see how many of Whispers' posts were actually about strip clubs, versus mentioning them in some way. I'm going to have to go ahead and agree with the boys on this one; there aren't that many. And even if there were, he's entitled to post on an endless variety of topics, including strip clubs, on this board, is he not? I won't bother to go back and read the Triumvirate posts
Do Whispers' posts with his not-so-subtle accusations about marketing ploys, etc. sometimes offend me and put me on the defensive? Abso-fuckin-lutely. But when they do, I have the opportunity to respond in *almost* whatever manner I see fit, given that I exercise a moderate amount of reason in my response. And we all go on to live and post another day.
Do Whispers' posts sometimes amuse me and make me giggle? Damn right, they do. I was pretty giddy about the recent post where he warned everyone not to "out" anyone for attending the luncheon... and then proceeded to out a few people. I was able to recognize that it was all done tongue-in-cheek and take it for what it was: fun.
You come across as a strong woman, Kat. You may not want to post here regularly anymore. I've certainly had to take a break at times, and I know others have, too. But I've found that bashing people who do post here regularly - those that keep this board thriving, thus ensuring more complete information flow for the gentlemen, and higher review and ad visibility for the ladies - just because you're tired of seeing their posts - isn't the brightest idea. If you have a particular gripe about a particular post, address it in that thread. Otherwise... I've got nothin' for ya.
*@Whispers: I believe "The Triumvirate" as a term to refer to me, Britney and Taylor as a group of provider friends and hobby roommates was coined by Damon Bradley in a recent post. I may be wrong. If so, and the credit should be awarded to Kat, I stand corrected.
**@Whispers: Although your Wikipedia definition of triumvirate is correct, it also fails to address some alternate definitions of the term. The word triumvirate is translated from the Latin triumviratus, and derived from the Latin triumviri, meaning "board of three." In addition to the traditional political meaning (usually associated with the informal political alliance of the First Triumvirate - Julius Caesar, Pompey the Great, and Marcus Crassus), the word triumvirate can also mean any grouping, alliance or body of three. So, in this case, I think the term is quite appropriate. And I will admit that I like it. But then again, I'm a slut for pretty words.
***@Whispers (It seems I really like talking to you today!): I appreciate your attempt at discretion with the S_ _ _ _ _ _ _ business (or however many blanks that word has...) but if we're going to play Wheel of Fortune, you should at least tell me how much each of my guesses are worth, and give me the chance to buy a vowel. Sixx will probably even turn the letters for us all Vanna-White-style if we tell him he looks pretty in an evening gown.
And now, back to my regularly scheduled program of watching documentaries and cleaning my pocket protectors.

I suppose that ultimately this board is about what the members post about. We're all free to start posts or reply to posts that interest us and that are related to the pay-for-play hobby so to speak.
Sure, there will be some members that are more vocal and post more often - but should you really be blaming them for talking about their interests? Or should you be blaming the others who don't post?
This place is just like voting in an election...don't blame the people who voted for the other guy you didn't like. Blame the people who didn't vote for the one you did.
At the risk of pointing out the obvious, board postings are not a limited resource. We're not going to run out of space because someone else posted.

hmmmm? Where did you dance and when? I seem to remember giving a young lady an advance on a couple of dances when tuition was due and she still owes me 2.....

I do enjoy your defenses.... One of the few and rare ladies that can do so in a intelligent as well as entertaining fashion....

Ok... Lets not keep using words I need to look up... I have a couple of degreesbut in all honesty I was a geek.. But if it will get you to be slutty... When I eventually get to meet you... Don't be surprised when I break out a Thesaurus..

Ya know.... I've been hearing some very strange things about Sixx lately... I even offered to show up with two lovely ladies at his Birthday Happy Hour.... I offered to dress them as SWs and prepay even.... But he didn't invite me....... This comes two weeks after turning down a $250 all niter from one of my favorite spinners... But if your putting him in an evening gown... please... no white... I get confused enough about other things....

Everyone needs to vent sometimes and if it makes you feel better to talk about others, including me, so be it, Kat. It's no skin off my back. It seems like this is just perpetuating the problem.

Oh hell, Natalie... Don't get your panties in a twist! I was more in a tongue-in-cheek mode than take all prisoners. I'm not a hater of anyone here. How would that go along w/ my desire for a return to a feeling of community??? Don't overthink it. I sure didn't, but then again, Nyquil is pretty dang strong stuff! LOL
About to have to lay down cuz the last dose has me woozy already!
Yes, Damon, whom I will now dub Damien cuz I love that demonic cock of his - especially buried all the way in my ... - oh my! uh... yeah... He dubbed the Triumvirate Triad, not I. We both like words.
My vent was relatively humorous at times, I hope. Tired of being too serious myself but my formal writing style is hard to "read" at times in regard to "tone". Sorry.
Talk to you folks later... when I'm LUCID!
XOXOXO
Kat

I am surprised more people don't just use the Ignore List option when they don't like what someone else typically posts.
I just wish it was a one-click process to add someone to the list.
i personally enjoy the 'Triumvirate' girls and their threads. They seem to post more when aint shit else going on around here. Even if it is just self promotion...its done in a nice and playfull way...unlike some.
