If you have a life-changing event such as the loss of a job, death of a spouse or birth of a child, you are eligible for special enrollment within 60 days of the event.
Open Enrollment for Individuals and Families for 2015 and beyond: After 2014 open enrollment will be held October 15—December 7 of each year. The initial effective date will be January 1st of the following year."
