The line between #1 and #2 is far more blurred than many realize.

I believe that woman deserve and need support, advice, and unconditional love during the time they are in this industry. They deserve to be safe and treated with respect, regardless of how far to the left or right of the line they stand.

I started out as a teenage street prostitute with a pimp and migrated into a Independent internet provider without a pimp. I was the same person at both stages in my life, and still today doing what I do with P411 (while being a regular every day married soccer mom outside of my work).

Women are capable of deciding who they have sex with, for what reason, and when. Only the most patriarchal of society takes this choice out of a woman's hands and tried to make that decision for her. However, that doesn't mean that each decision we make is always going to be "the right" decision, or that we can't use a hand when the time comes to do something else.

That some clients (a la WakeUp) treat you as though they are nothing more then a hole, worthless once time creeps on, is very difficult to deal with day in and day out. Regardless of what is going on your your personal life, it is the clients like this who make this job a difficult one that no woman will enjoy for more than a year or two.... then it becomes a drudgery.

I think that having (non-religion based) options to get assistance exiting this industry is a positive thing. I would love to put together something that would support women through the entire journey....

FWIW, even though WU and I have our differences here, in real life he's always seemed like a decent guy. I doubt he'd treat a woman like crap in real life, although in all honesty I don't know him all that well.

Back to the topic.

I think this is a great program.

As much as we'd like to think it doesn't happen, many women provide either because they're forced or because they don't see other options. (That's the primary reason reason I won't be an AMP client.)

Giving those who want out an easier path out is a good, noble, and ethical thing. Providers provide the most personal of services, I can't imagine the horror of being forced to do so.
