If you go to Cuba you’ll see Che’s face plastered everywhere. Not so much Castro’s. The ideal is so much better than reality.
Cuba could be like Panama or Costa Rica today but it’s not. It’s a shit hole. Perhaps the 2nd worst shithole in the Western Hemisphere.
I bought into the idea that the health care and educational system in Cuba were good for a 3rd world country, , even after my hypothetical trip to Cuba, which I never made. Well if those were actually ever decent, they’re not now. Talk to the Cuban strippers. They’re not the brightest bulbs on the planet, even the ones who purport to be engineers and the like.
