OF COURSE, the ACA doesn't use the phrase "Death Panel" ... there is a regional board established to which denials of coverage by a carrier are appealed and that board decides whether one gets coverage or not. Those decisions are customarily "LIFE AND DEATH" decisions (just like in Medicare/Medicaid decisions) because more serious (expensive) treatments are customarily the ones denied by carriers who do not want to spend the money.
