I haven't been able to get on a screening site because all the ECCIE guys who have contacted me through this site and are P411 users only want to use that to be verified -- catch 22. What's a vouch from a reviewer?

As I understand it: A "vouch" is someone who is willing to email the Mods and state that you are, indeed, a provider, and that they have seen you BCD. On the mother ship, I got invited to community gatherings because a provider (or 2, I don't remember) was willing to email the Mod and say I was OK...in other words, she had seen me BCD for hobby activity.
Even though you don't have any presence on a screening site, you should have enough to get provider status on ECCIE, IMHO. But that is up to the Mods and I am not the last word; they are.
