Speeding ticket and then a huge fine. My recollection is they did not confiscate the detector but there were stories about cops picking up the detector to examine it and accidentally dropping it on the roadside, oops.
You'd get an extra fine. BTDT. It was in the days when "Escort" was the best. Quite the irony of an "Escort" detector on this board. Now if would really detect who's an escort.

Yes Camille, Connecticut still derives revenue from speeding tickets. Sadly it is the insurance companies who garner the most revenue from them. And you know I would be happy to drive to you!

It also depends on what you drive as to whether I'd get in lol. No, I'm not kidding! If it's not high on crash safety ratings...epic fail for me.

So my 7AM left the gate to get de-iced after about a 2 hour delay, then comes a maintenance issue so back to the gate and deplaned. Sigh.
It's better to figure out a "maintenance issue" before "wheels up" than after. Guess you are not staying for the game. Go Jets, oh wait.....

ya know if the Jets had made it at this point I would say the hell with it and just figure out a way to stay
But it'll be a cold day in Dallas..... You still at DFW?
