Tiny, hopefully you know that there will be more jobs created in green energy. If you have skills you can move on. Just don't play the blame game

Shutting down exploitation of natural gas resources on federal leases in particular will probably increase global CO2 emissions.
Since 2005 our emissions have dropped about as much as the European Union, which has 35% more people. We've reduced CO2 emissions a lot more than any other country. How were we able to do this? Through producing more natural gas, which replaced coal. A lot of this natural gas came from federal offshore leases, and federal lands in New Mexico and Wyoming.
You most likely won't see any new development on these leases as long as Biden is president.
So we get rid of the oil and gas industry in the USA. What's that going to do? Well, if we just replace domestic production with imports from places like Venezuela, Russia and Saudi Arabia, all it will do is adversely affect our national security and our trade balance. We'll owe even more debt to foreigners.
What will the effect be on global carbon emissions of getting rid of our oil and gas industry? Not much. China emits 2X the CO2 we do, and its emissions are growing while ours are shrinking. As India, Indonesia and other countries grow along with China, our emissions, currently at 15% of the worldwide total, will become a drop in the bucket.
Finally, green energy isn't a free ride. You have significant greenhouse gas emissions associated with the use of renewables, to do things like mine and process lithium and cobalt, construct windmills and solar cells, and generate electricity to charge electric vehicles.
