Completely depends upon the chemistry between the two players, and the perceived level of interest on the guys part. Also agree expectations on the business arrangement should be made clear. Maybe a pm asking if it's cool to text/email to a hobby phone/email would be best first step? I, for one, would dig it if certain providers (you know who you are),would reach out to me if they were wanting to see me. Its nice to send them an email within 24/48 hours after your session with them. Anything after that is in bad taste in my opinion. Unless you're traveling and they asked you to email them. Maybe a PM thru ECCIE would be safer?Depending on the tone of the PM from provider to client and the mood of the client, the PM COULD be construed as spamming for business regardless of the intent of the provider. This isn't allowed and if a client reports it the Provider might end up with an infraction, so I'd avoid the PM route myself.
Personally I would like to receive a PM or email from a provider I clicked with, it would be soothing for the ego. Having said that, my ego is down to earth enough that I don't think I would mistake it for being OTC.
I can see how that could be a problem though. Originally Posted by Starry69
