Knut is dead

I think Ansley just told Naomi that she was special.

Did anyone of you guys hear about him? Was he also famous in the USA? In Europe there was quite a hype about him. A few years ago in 2008 his "human father" died of a heart attack very sudden also. What a sad coincidence :-((

Secretariat is probably the closest thing that the US has had to a "star" animal .. and that was before the movie was made. Long time, gruff sports writers cried when Secretariat died. Originally Posted by discreetgent

i googled secretariat, will look into that movie...its interesting how people and the mass media can get attached to a hype around one person or one animal, right?

ah ok, well that explains..... don`t you americans have any "star" animals that gotten international knowledge like Knut - sweetie did? He was such a superstar in Europe , when he died the medias were full of it. ... Does this never happen here ? :-)))
ps: no , i don`t mean Lassie and Free Willie :-))))) (lol) Originally Posted by ninasastri
