Why Do You Hobby?

Well it started because I lost faith in women for the most part after my divorce between the ex lying to the courts trying to make me into a bad guy and my female attorney taking off with my money and trying to sink my case....

I just didn't feel like getting hurt by anyone. This was simple. Frankly it is because the women I met I got my faith back in women.

I didn't want to deal with the awkward issues of picking someone up for a one nighter or F-buddy and then having to deal with the issue were they got attached or something. It allowed me to have my space and time and get what I needed.

It also happens to be convenient as a single parent I can only really look for women when my son is in school or visiting his mother. But if the need really hits I can wait till he is asleep in bed and give someone a call.

I don't like to stream an endless line of women in front of him and teach him that is the way it is supposed to be done. Frankly I would prefer to just have one woman I trust and ... but I haven't found her yet.

I started because I married Catholic and the nuns told my wife blowjobs are dirty and a sin.

I stayed. . .well because I love blowjobs, but the entire hobby has become something way more to me over the years.

I hobby out of boredom, My SO and i are both concentrated on our work, so we spend a lot of time apart, for instance the SO is in Thailand for the next month been there for 5 weeks already, As much as i love my kids i need an adult night out here and there. 3 days after she gets back i'm off to china for 3 weeks. So its just companionship for me.

NEVERMIND>......I just spent almost an HOUR typing and wording my two cents.....and I hit the backspace key one too many times....POOF.....my two cents disappeared. Must not have been mean to be.

Why do I hobby? Lets see...

This profession has allowed me to, in 10 years

Pay off my house, free and clear, in 4 years.
Buy my dream car-a 2009 BMW 335i hardtop convertible right off the showroom floor.
Allow me to send my daughter to one of the finest private schools in Dallas.
Put in place her college fund so that she wil be able to attend whatever university she chooses.
Fund my retirement nest egg.

Oh, and it's pretty fun too(at least most of the time!). SW

Interesting question and answers. I was also an 'official' virgin when I got married. I wanted to get out of the house and get laid, so I got married to a very good catholic lady who was beautiful and unresponsive. That lasted a long time, but ended in divorce. I had a short time of freedom then met a lady who I thought woud be what I needed in every way. Unfortunately, she wasn't what she made me believe she was. Now, I have to say that she was interested in sex, and she gave me everything I wanted - BBBJCIM, russian, greek - little was out of bounds. Unfortunately, in other ways she wasn't what she made me believe she was. I came to realize that she was interested in someone who'd let her live a life of leisure. So, I am no longer interested in her as a friend, and now that she weighs as much as I do, as a lover. But, I'm still one of those guys who thinks about sex all the time, even though I have grandkids. And I enjoy a woman who is willing to make love with me. Recreational fucking is fine once in a while, but I really enjoy a woman whose sexual energy is as high as mine, and I've found a number of them in the hobby. If, when younger, I had been as smart as I am now, I'd never have married and would have spent my time with the wonderful, sexy, horney providers I've met since joining the hobby.

To answer your first question Kaci, in my case, I hobbied because I was not being taken care of sexually by my ex. As for the second question as to why she was my wife for as long as she was when I was not getting what I needed or wanted from her, well until things changed a few years ago, I was unwilling to leave her because of my kiddo… there are other reasons too. So after I nearly died and came out of the coma, I decided it was time to end the marriage for a variety of reasons.

Funny but now that I can hobby to my heart’s content, I don’t – I know, weird but true. I made the adjustments to being alone after being with my ex for most of my adult life. Yet now I have found I do not tolerate BS or drama from anyone for any reason which does make things lonely for me at times but I have peace in the valley and that makes me very happy.

This is something that i have wondered about for a while and all the guys dont give the same reason some just flat out say in not in-love with her or theres lots of drama or whatever i guess that why i asked the question in the first place to see if it was mearly just the sex for you guys or if there was more to why you visit us ladies. I hope i did not upset anybody with this post i sure did not intend to and i would NEVER ask a client why he was married to who he choose or even if he is married but sometimes information is offered up to you weather you ask or not about 80% of my job is being a thereapist to the guys that see me stroking there egos and making them feel like a king and i love the way that i feel when i can see the pleasure in a mans face and it seems like it was been a while scence they felt like that. Lots of people stay together because of the kids, financial security, fear of change, etc... Unless a hobbyist and his SO have an agreement, for someone who is emotionally and psychologically healthy, I think it's safe to say that he does not love or respect her anymore. I began falling out of love with mine years ago. My wife too was a frigid b***h. She would not even discuss the lack of sex issue...much less work on the issue. I guess she assumed that that ring on her finger gave her permission to not participate in our relationship when it was good for her. I stayed because I did not want to embrace change or impact our children. So rather than deal with the issues, I ended up here.

A few years ago she found out everything and what she did not know, I confessed. I was brutally honest with her about who, when, where, and why. Needless to say, I don't hobby anymore….but not for the reasons you might think. Being in the hobby and getting busted was the best thing that ever happened to us. It was sort of an awakening for both of us. Yes, it was really tough for awhile….the whole trust issue. Now, there is lots of sex (better than anything I experienced while in the hobby), passion, and open communication.

It is safe to say that being in the hobby saved my marriage. My friends still wonder how I turned that truck load of lemons into a trailer load of fresh squeezed lemonade. However, do enjoy the forums...but that's the only secret between us anymore.
