You can't seriously believe that. If she owned a gun, she would have had to go get it before he pulled his on her and fired. Or, if she had it on her at all times, she would have drawn when he drew and they both would have been shooting at each other.

The answer to guns, isn't more guns. More guns doesn't stop people from getting shot, it actually means MORE people get shot.

Well said. I was listening to the Dan Patrick show the other day and he was talking about the same subject. He made reference to a pro head football coach who, after the shootings, asked his team in the locker room how many had guns. 80% raised their hands. Here are guys earning millions of dollars, living in, I'm sure, very safe neighborhoods, and almost all of them see a need to own a gun? As one caller-in stated, it's the nature of the beast.
