Next trip down to Dallas I plan to visit this place that just opened. Should bring back some memories of the 80s

Speaking of HBO... these come to mind. Originally Posted by BK

Lots of people and critics hated it, but I loved it. I had read the books so I wasn't confused about the characters in the movie, but I saw it in the theater and they handed out a printed list of the characters and brief description of each to try to help people understand. Yeah, it had its flaws - there was no mention of weirding modules in the books, for example - but to me it captured the weird feel of the book well, and certainly better than any other Dune treatments that have come out since then.

And how can you not love Q?

Q (to Riker): "Oh you're so stolid! You weren't like that before the beard."

Q is very simply the best character in the entire Star Trek franchise (and I say that being a huge fan of Mr. Spock, too).

From "Deja Q":

If any of you are huge Q fans you can get a DVD set of every Q episode in the franchise (of course I have it):

"Star Trek Fan Collective: Q"

John De Lancie may be the best actor in the entire franchise; he certainly was perfectly cast as Q. (I also love his turn as Frank Simmons in Stargate SG-1.)

Kids in the Hall first aired in 1988. Loved that show!
