Unofficial ECCIE Sandbox Video Game Thread

First thing I must say, I just discovered this thread and it is complete awesomeness!!! hehe I've played mmo's for a loong time! Currently playing TOR, new update and content being added with todays patch! I love this game, but wish they would start adding more, I know its new and it needs time to grow, so Ill just bitch and moan, but continue to play it as it grows. (like I do with most things hehe). Before TOR I played WoW for around 5 years, cancelled that last year, with the panda invasion, like bleh, what next.....
I played SWG since release, its sad that game ended, it was truely unique. They have developed a private server thats soon to have a hard code, its still in beta(whisper me for infor or google it), its old code although (pre-nge) , which in my opinion is much better than the newer of the last few years. For me PC games have always been better than the consoles, but I have much love for those too. I still have a PS1 I play FF7 on, I will never get tired of that game! Oh and the Fallout series I seen mentioned a few posts back, ABSOLUTELY love that one. FO1, FO2, FoT, and the newer PC/xbox ones! There hopefully will be a FO MMO someday, if they ever figure out whats up with it all. Oh and diabalo 3! lol, one day it will be out! But yea, TOR daily player right now, my main is my assassin, I also have a liking to my Operative, havent got much into the "republic" toons yet, Empire FTW!

Oh so glad you posted... I am downloading the new patch today also. I played on the public test server so love the new UI customization. I am really looking forward to the legacy stuff! Not this weekend but next will be the open beta for Tera online. I am totally buying that game. I played it the past two beta weekends and really love the combat/target style. Not to mention the female characters are fucking hot in their g-string skimpy outfits!

Diablo 3 any thought yet?

I"m not too overally impressed Diablo 3. It's been 20 years since the 1st one came out. This one could have came out a few years after Diablo 2. Not too much new other then the real auction house. Can't wait to get a lucky drop and make some real $ for playing a video game

I played Evony for several years because of the camaraderie of the alliance I belonged to. But one day I finally said to hell with it because of the time it took to keep feeding the massive troops it took to compete. It was a little hard to give up the assets that took years to build up, but the work every friggin day to keep the account up was won't be missed.

I played Diablo 3 in the beta. I really didn't care for it too much. I think I am a die hard MMO player. So I gravitate toward MMO's. Right now Tera Online has my heart and the toons are sexy as hell!

If anyones played SWG, the new "pre-cu"servers are up, no more beta wipes

Yeah, I know, this started in march, but I still couldn't help but nerdgasm all over this thread. Now that I've cleaned up....

My best friend stopped playing ToR because of the recent server merge and he lost a few character names (odd reason to quit, but to each their own). So, with that in mind, I'm looking for a new server/new peeps to play with. Looks like there a few on here that play....anyone want to hook up in game?

I wondered if anyone was going to mention Evony. I was a Presbyter in DeathInc for a long time. Loved the game, but like you, I got tired of the constant farming. When my army was at its biggest, I had to produce 80 million food per day to keep them fed. I found myself spending so much time farming, I never had time to have fun with all those massive troops. Plus, it became so common place for players to share accounts, that it took all the fun out of attacking. Its been over a year since I played Evony, and I still miss it sometimes.
