Raising taxes makes sense to slow down an overheated economy and keep inflation at bay. Last time I checked our real GDP was expanding at roughly 3% per annum - good but hardly overheating - and inflation was still tame at under 2%. The case for (modest) fiscal stimulus is much stronger than any argument for raising taxes, you ignorant doofus.
