RYAN'S SPEECH....GREAT !

I worked full time during undergrad, and both post-graduate degrees, Also had a family and small children. It can be done.

One of the major reasons college costs are so high is because someone else is paying for it. Freshmen students don't comprehend what kind of debt they're taking on, but they are lulled into the idea that it will come due later, and they can go to school and party now, and pay later.

Then when their student loans come due, they march in protests demanding that they all be forgiven.

If you want an education, you can get one. It shouldn't be handed to you. It's not my duty to fund someone else's education involuntarily. There are scholarship funds I'll donate to, and other ways to help. We don't need government funding everyone's post-high school education.

Isn't it obvious why Ryan cuts back on education?

He's just saving his own ass!
Educated people won't vote for him, he needs, like all republicans, a dumb country.

They all want a stupid electorate, Wave. Both Democrats and Republicans depend on people not understanding that they both want to screw them and take for themselves.

Maybe it's good after all that legally I can't vote.
I'm not a citizen and never will be.

You make this crazy assumption that it can be done- yeah I might be able to run through a burning flame- it can be done but I am going to have some serious burns right??? A person can take a razor blade and slice themselves 100 times also- what does the fact that it can be done and the reality that it's nonsense to expect a middle class working family to easily afford a 30k a year tuition as if it were money they can get from their piggy bank.

Why is that my problem?
Best line IMO:

“College graduates should not have to live out their 20s in their childhood bedrooms, staring up at fading Obama posters and wondering when they can move out and get going with life.”

Wow, Munchie! You've proven your point! There is something definitely wrong with our educational system!

Thanks for pointing that out!
