Actually they did not. The Secret Service said that Engle would testify that it did not happen as described. All she could relay was what she was told. Also, a DC police officer has supposedly corroborated some aspects of the story, meaning some aspects of the story content are true or at least corroborated as true. Other people have also stated they too heard the story so evidently someone that was in the SUV told the story to at least 2 people. Further supporting her recitation.

Don’t backtrack now since you claimed she was lying.

games? I can only relay what I read, which appeared to be that the officer was there and said what he actually saw, rather than what he was told. But I dont know exactly what he said since I have not seen his testimony.

I think the DoJ will charge several people, including Meadows. Trump, not so much, but the committee has plenty of info and sworn testimony. The DoJ will have the power of a grand jury to get testimony from people declining currently. Garland should appoint a special counsel if he’s concerned about the politics but I suspect he won’t for reasons unknown.
