Reduce the FCC to managing the smooth operation of the sale of airspace. Originally Posted by John Bull

WiFi unlike WiMax is so successful because the underlying airspace is free.

Getting back to the original subject though...I'm not sure I understand enough about the FCC action to formulate an opinion. Originally Posted by Rudyard K

When you brought the "FCC action" here as topic for discussion, they only had their "vote" on a "rough draft" (how the FCC votes is already a total joke, and completely insane).

One day later Andrew McLaughlin decided to resign without comment. Personally given the situation I or any other sane person would have done the same.

Now as x-mas presents the "FCC action" produced further statements from all 5 FCC trolls. 3 Dems, 2 GOPniks and it's just a farce, but at least easy to find on their website. And an extra, quite hidden and not easy to find on their website they have an almost 200 page document which is not quite the future regulation but outlines what it will be.

OK, here's an interesting one:

What happens when we mix the Free Speech thread with the FCC thread? Originally Posted by Mazomaniac

So far this is their 1st statement before the holidays:

(I guess after the holidays when their lawyers had more time to wade and browse through the more than 400+ pages (in total) which the FCC published as x-mas present, they will be even more concerned about it.)
