So it was a legit letter....several years ago I got a slip to sign for a certified letter and they wrote IRS on the slip. That was a Saturday I had to leave town Monday morning so I had to wait a week to sign and pickup the letter marked IRS on the slip.

The letter was not from the IRS but Allstate sending me an amended life insurance policy....fuckin POst Office employee must have been having a joke at my expense as there was nothing on that letter that could have been interpreted as IRS.

POSt Office employee. Haha.
