No. I do not believe my Time is more important than anyone's. But I schedule a certain way, because hobby is not my life. I do A LOT outside of apts. So its not ok to just show up whenever after you've missed the scheduled apt and there's been no communication. I'm not the best provider on the board. But I only take 1-3 apts a day. And believe me, there's plenty others that want that slot. Also its just rude. I could be in another session or have family with me. You never know. Also as stated previously, this particular incident was with a repeat client. He knows how it goes. So there's no excuse. Clients want us to follow specifics, well you do the same. So when I make an appointment it's almost 1/2 of a normal work day to make that appointment. I've been stood up, cancelled, and delayed more than 20-30 minutes after I arrived in the area of the appointment.
I don't start a thread and I don't even mention it. It's life!
And I have work appointments cancelled and rescheduled for one reason or another, and I don't whine about it or threaten any action because of it. It's business! I communicate effectively with person with appointments with me and confirm the day of well in advance of the appointment to assure we are "on"~!
But, of course, I've been in business for myself longer than you have! And I don't consider myself to be "special"! That's life!
