Super Bowl bound. Lol
Offensive line with two rookies did a decent job. Its not perfect, but give them time to gel.. if they stay healthy, they could be a good line.
I was worried about our defense with the change in scheme, lost some pieces.. but they surprised me and looked great. Granted, it was against that freaky in legal trouble again bastard Watson... but def looked good.

Dak looked good in the first half... we took our foot off the pedal in the 2nd half. I want to think its because we had the game in hand.. but we shall see. Good start to the season, esp when a lot of people were expecting us to lose to this Browns team (well their defense anyway).

I am guessing history will repeat this season as well.
I hope I am wrong.

I did not expect the Cowboys to beat the Browns in Cleveland, so the fact they did in convincing fashion is a great start at overcoming the many doubters like me.

They just better do the same at home against NO.

I live close to the stadiums in Arlington, but I’ve only been to the Cowboys once: years ago when they first opeed. Have not seen the new Rangers stadium.

This is actually a funny story about the Cowboys game. Someone messaged me from one of my advertisements early one Sunday morning, saying they had tickets and asking if I wanted them. I thought they were trying to work out a trade which I do not entertain.
Turns out they told me they were just too hung over to go. They didn’t want them to go to waste. So we met in a Starbucks parking lot for the ticket exchange lol. Never saw him again !

I was just going by what Cowboys have done in the past and their statistics.

Am I the only one that thinks Dak being the highest pay player in the NFL is crazy!???
I get it he just came off his best season and he is a great leader but damn!!!

I agree. They could had gotten rid of him, pick up a rookie in the draft , and then have millions leftover to get a couple other draft picks.

Jerry don't care. He makes gazillions each year regardless whether the cowgirls win or lose.

He and his rich friends have a pick of 36 cheerleaders to attend the private parties they host several times weekly at their mansions.

They are cheerleaders part time and Jerry's harem of companions full time.

The rest of what you see on TV on 16 seasons of TDCCMTT the Netflix miniseries America's Sweethearts are just facade to hide the truth about those girls.

If Jerry didn’t care he would have let Dak play out his contract and move on. I think he sees himself as having 2-3 years left and he wants someone who is at least better than average at that position to give him some chance at winning.

The problem is will the math work such that he can continue to put a team on the field that on paper looks like a contender. He probably is structuring deals in such a way that he has some flexibility for a few years before they reenter Cap Hell. He likely won’t have to deal with that hangover himself.

There's some piss poor takes in this thread.

-Dak got signed. He was going to get his money from the Cowboys or free agency. He's an elite top 10 QB that was 2nd Team All Pro. Dallas does not want to go back an era of post Aikman to pre Romo.

-The salary cap can be manipulated. For Dallas, they are one of the better drafting teams in the league in which they can have top people in certain positions but draft well enough to have solid contributions from their young guys. So the idea of we can't keep players or Dak has to do more with less is absurd.

-Dallas looked good on special teams and defense. Dak and the others weren't thrilled on offense in the 2nd half but they will fix it.
