ADS WITH EXPLICIT LANGUAGE - Do they make you "click"?

ck1942's Avatar
In my experience in sharing views and experiences with other hobbyists and with providers, too .... it appears that there are several types of hobbyists...

--- gentlemen who clearly prefer to engage with classy (and maybe a bit sassy) ladies

--- gents who concentrate only on physical attributes and demonstrated "quality" level service menus

--- guys who clearly prefer to engage with open "porn star" aspirations or street walkers or both

--- men with fetish/fantasy preferences

--- jerks who want to demean/profane females who are either willing to be done that way or who don't easily determine that is what is coming their way

Not categorizing any members (male or female) on the board, jmho.

= = = =

And, obviously, there are providers in here (and out there) who have figured out how to cater to or to attract any or all of the above.

Additionally, providers ranging from those who genuinely enjoy the sensual and the sexual to those in the trade just for the money.

= = = =

So, to address the OP's question, perhaps, if you can determine what type(s) of client you prefer, you can tailor your ads to suit your tastes and preferences.

I'm lost.
What was the original question again?
Something about how writing styles in advertisements are interpreted.

Agree 100%.

I'm somewhere between your first and second types. So to relate this back to the OP's question, it is a big turn off for someone to use explicit language in an ad because certainly not classy. However, behind closed doors is a different issue.
I've been toying with the idea of going "full-time" so I can pursue my Master's. I've haven't had to write ads so far but certainly will if I do take the plunge. (Though one may argue that everything a provider posts is an ad....in which case, I've written over 500 of them.)

It's nice to see that there is a wide variety of tastes and that I can tailor my ad to my mood. I might default to the most open-minded, appropriately affectionate girlfriend you've ever had but every once in a while a girl want to feel* used and dirty.....or do the using. The variety of friends I have made is one of the things that I enjoy the most about the hobby.

As an aside, in Cplamson's defense if you boiled down his "advice" in the other thread is basically went 1) don't say she charges too much 2) Ask for her specials if she's a girl who constantly has them 3) when you become a "regular" she may cut you a deal. To my experience and knowledge the third scenario happens often. A girl may have a set allowance a month and the guy has a set number of dates or a girl may be a bit more lax with the clock. In no way do I support his stance on other issues, but his post on the other thread was one of his more innocuous ones. I swear the community needs a class on how to use connotation and how to phrase things to not offend. I do feel that this would be a much happier board as a result.

Why am I getting involved you ask? Because i've modded before and it's a thankless job.** Being a mod does NOT mean you are better or are a role model. In the end it just means that you haven't pissed off the general populace too much, aren't dumb, and aren't likely to take advantage of the situation.

*Feel being the operative word. Fantasy is a wonderful thing because you can step away afterwards and be normal caring people with each other.

**I'm not a fan of mods using their position to get freebies from girls or girls giving freebies to mods for special treatment either.
I don't respond to those types of ads.

He might not yet realize how powerful words can be, or maybe even can be misconstrued. He's a Mod, which means a cut above the rest. The ladies depend on his fairness and wisdom, just as the gents. When it's obvious that may not be the case, or others won't view it as such, some one needs to point that out.

Why me? Because I didn't see anyone else doing so. And, perpetuating what clients can or should expect of the ladies, because those have been his experiences, only gives those who trust his words as being true for everyone. They then behave as if they are entitled to such things concerning what his experiences were.

I dunno. Just try to refrain from using derogatory statements such as calling us all "just a little ass" and leave your wheeling and dealing practices between you and the lady in question, as I shouldn't have do anything or practice my business in any way, another does. I am not in competition, please don't try to pit me in a competitive nature against other ladies. I hope he understands the implications of his words, because I and others do experience the fall out. He's a Mod first, here. He voluntarily took on a thankless job for lotsa reasons not ours to know unless he shares. I am grateful there are Mods or this place would be a zoo. I get that and no disrespect to Mods in general.

Other gents have used explicit language directed at me, simply because they know I find it offensive. Their goal is to offend me. I don't see the Mods doing their actual job concerning such matters, but I suppose they think I deserve such treatment, if I'm gonna have the audacity to stand up for myself and others, or maybe because it's acceptable to so many. Not my place to question that either, I guess. It is what is, if we don't discuss or allude to problems introduced by participants and/or Mods.
I think now that P411 has cut back on what you can say you enjoy that now you have to add some of those likes or things you will do in your eccie ad. To me it does not matter if you list as part of your service a BBBJ or suck your cock down to my throat, it gets the message across.
Eccie is to find a lady you want to visit to fuck, massage, or all out enjoy all of her head to toe but unless reviews state what she does or she lets you know, you are shooting in the dark.
I like the ones that say come fuck my ass to those ladies that say GFE but also the NO's depending on my mood.
There is a place for everyone and just like face pictures, sometimes I make my decisions on just the face and nice body.
No one fits all here in my opinion.

You will be amazed at how well the women will respond to your online persona.

When I modded, it was a community that made the political forum look congenial. The mods were guilty of spamming, insults, and generally douchebaggery but we did uphold the rules of the forum and remained unbiased. I do think that experience colored my perception of the mods here. I expect nothing but unbiased decisions and a relatively quick turnaround for PM's and RTM's. If they wanted pillars of the community to mod then Old-T would be one. But the mongers out there would have a field day by saying he's too much of a white knight. Personally, I don't consider being polite and a gentleman white knighting but it's just a way of trying to bring him down because he makes other guys look like douches by comparison.

Now someone who is a misogynist would be a poor fit because they would certainly be biased. Someone who has no understanding of the english language would never be taken seriously. Finally someone who isn't active would just be waste.

But it's all moot because I'm just a provider and shouldn't have an opinion. I mean, our pretty little heads shouldn't be concerned because we get offended too easily right? </sarcasm>

I thank you for your very kind words, but please do not worry too much. I have been called far worse on here and in real life. The worst attacks by the most sinister posters on the worst day on ECCIE don't hold a candle to what happens when I send in a report telling the Navy they shouldn't get their new $2B aircraft carrier or advise against putting a new federal building in Congressman X's district. THAT stuff generates REAL hate mail!

I also admit this corner of my world contains far more exceedingly lovely young ladies I enjoy exchanging thoughts with than populate most the Federal offices I spend time in (or time hiding from).

Again, thank you for the kind words pretty young lady, but now I know you also have a bit of a sinister side.

Much as some feel about a ladies opinions and blast offs, just know the feeling is mutual. I have a target audience, and it wouldn't be the gents who have no compassion for a lady and her own business, just so ya know. Controlling oneself and sitting in the corner like a good little yes girl, while allowing another to spread false info concerning things which affect my business and every other lady's business, are two different things, but I appreciate your opinion. Am I not happy with someone who would do such things and who has somewhat of an influence on others, whether deservedly so or not? Yes dear, I certainly am unhappy. He deserves more than a verbal blast. But hey, that's just my opinion. If you can dislodge that hand trying to take money outta my pocket and encouraging others to stick their hand in it, please know, that is something I would find useful. But blasting back seems to be your preference, and that's perfectly fine with me.

Again, apologies to the OP

Explicit language is unbecoming from ladies, as well as, gents, whether it be advertising or any other form of communication. But hey, that's simply my opinion, and I have very good reasons for feeling that way, other than the obvious. Originally Posted by MaxiMilyen

Also if a business says no one is allowed to ask for a discount the business would go down the tube unless demand was really high. You just can't say don't bring it up because it's not your prerogative to do so. It is your prerogative to say no or fuck off or your an asshole, whatever you want to say. Don't come out and say we can't ask because we will do what we want just like you have the right to say no. Relax it's the American way. This business isn't so special that it's off limits to ask.

You don't understand a lot of things and have purposely insulted me in other threads. I don't feel a need to explain anything to you. Read the thread and maybe you can comprehend why I was upset. You lost the respect I know to inherently give everyone, until they no longer deserve that from me, hon. I don't have to earn your respect and certainly want no part of any requirements you've decided you have for such.

Edit: because of gents like this advocating harassment of rates to all ladies, I gave myself a raise, as I've been also doing this a while. And I'm gonna advocate all other ladies to do the same, regardless of how long they've been in the biz.

Lol I'm sure that will work well for you. And yes you have been doing this a long long time. I did my career for a long time also. Then I got older and then I RETIRED. I love it.

Harassment of rates. I love that.
