I've been toying with the idea of going "full-time" so I can pursue my Master's. I've haven't had to write ads so far but certainly will if I do take the plunge. (Though one may argue that everything a provider posts is an ad....in which case, I've written over 500 of them.)
It's nice to see that there is a wide variety of tastes and that I can tailor my ad to my mood. I might default to the most open-minded, appropriately affectionate girlfriend you've ever had but every once in a while a girl want to feel* used and dirty.....or do the using. The variety of friends I have made is one of the things that I enjoy the most about the hobby.
As an aside, in Cplamson's defense if you boiled down his "advice" in the other thread is basically went 1) don't say she charges too much 2) Ask for her specials if she's a girl who constantly has them 3) when you become a "regular" she may cut you a deal. To my experience and knowledge the third scenario happens often. A girl may have a set allowance a month and the guy has a set number of dates or a girl may be a bit more lax with the clock. In no way do I support his stance on other issues, but his post on the other thread was one of his more innocuous ones. I swear the community needs a class on how to use connotation and how to phrase things to not offend. I do feel that this would be a much happy board as a result.
Why am I getting involved you ask? Because i've modded before and it's a thankless job.** Being a mod does NOT mean you are better or are a role model. In the end it just means that you haven't pissed off the general populace too much, aren't dumb, and aren't likely to take advantage of the situation.
*Feel being the operative word. Fantasy is a wonderful thing because you can step away afterwards and be normal caring people with each other.
**I'm not a fan of mods using their position to get freebies from girls or girls giving freebies to mods for special treatment either.

He might not yet realize how powerful words can be, or maybe even can be misconstrued. He's a Mod, which means a cut above the rest. The ladies depend on his fairness and wisdom, just as the gents. When it's obvious that may not be the case, or others won't view it as such, some one needs to point that out.
Why me? Because I didn't see anyone else doing so. And, perpetuating what clients can or should expect of the ladies, because those have been his experiences, only gives those who trust his words as being true for everyone. They then behave as if they are entitled to such things concerning what his experiences were.
I dunno. Just try to refrain from using derogatory statements such as calling us all "just a little ass" and leave your wheeling and dealing practices between you and the lady in question, as I shouldn't have do anything or practice my business in any way, another does. I am not in competition, please don't try to pit me in a competitive nature against other ladies. I hope he understands the implications of his words, because I and others do experience the fall out. He's a Mod first, here. He voluntarily took on a thankless job for lotsa reasons not ours to know unless he shares. I am grateful there are Mods or this place would be a zoo. I get that and no disrespect to Mods in general.
Other gents have used explicit language directed at me, simply because they know I find it offensive. Their goal is to offend me. I don't see the Mods doing their actual job concerning such matters, but I suppose they think I deserve such treatment, if I'm gonna have the audacity to stand up for myself and others, or maybe because it's acceptable to so many. Not my place to question that either, I guess. It is what is, if we don't discuss or allude to problems introduced by participants and/or Mods.
