I'm on record as being against social media...all forms. This just proves it. And since Google changed its privacy policy, I have stopped using all things Google.

In other words: this so-called "security issue" has zero to do with chat. It has to do with a lack of security in photo naming. That's internet anonymity 101.
It also has nothing to do with Facebook and security. Your browser isn't going to hijack you and send your ECCIE world to your private life if you use proper Internet behavior in the first place.
If you care about separation of those lives, and aren't using a browser that keeps your sessions private, you are already on the wrong road. Browser history, cookies, localization, etc. are all issues that were already an issue, whether you realized it or not.
It's not a chat issue. PEBKAC.

LADIES-----Be aware that there are some picures on your SHOWCASES that have file names that do contain your civillian names!!
Please check yours!!
Also, some have Yahoo groups set up, check those file names too!!
