The pricing structure appears to be very similar to how Jim of Escapes claimed he worked with the girls in his agency (although he always claimed it was never an agency and the girls were all Indy).

As for the age and military reference, he probably used "retired" when he shouldn't have. My dad was an ex Marine but didn't put in enough time to draw a pension of any sort.
