confederate statues in front of a court house... is a curious place to put there. a lot of them were put there in the late 1880s to early 1900s during the era of jim crow laws. the people who put it up there were democrats, white supremacists democrats.
I don't see the utility of these statues considering the message it sends to black people who do court business. it basically tells blacks that their rights don't matter.
they should be relocated to a confederate cemetery.

those people who are destroying our heritage are making the mistakes of the past again .... sanitizing art, books, movies, recordings, and history of a part of our culture is IGNORANCE and a bad precedent .... this too shall pass .... and they will be "removed" from our history as a bad taste. They set the standard ... and as has been referenced:
