Please allow me to interject my two cents on this subject. First, let me state for the record that I have never communicated with (or have even seen) Skylar....however I am now convinced that I want to because I like women that have sass and that aren't afraid to show some balls sometime.
Here are some points of contention/clarification:
I would like to speak for myself when I say that I think lately "CLIENTS, CUSTOMERS,TRICKS, whatever you would like to call yourselfs" thinking that they can demand appts, or demand that you answer their pms,or texts.

I would like to say that I took a couple days off to take care of some stuff that needed my ATTENTION FIRST. PLEASE understand I do have a life outside of THE HOBBY WORLD. so now that I HAVE got back to hobby life' it seems that clients are getting a little to demanding.

You own your own business and you can do with it what you wish, but I can tell you that you will lose clients/customers if you keep an "OPEN FOR BUSINESS" (active) sign on your showcase, yet you have packed your bags and left town with your computer sitting on your desk at home. There is a reason you have the ability to deactivate your showcase as you desire. Be professional. Use that feature. (I am assuming that you didn't deactivate or announce your vacay. If you did, then those that bitched need to STFU.)
FIRST OFF....... do you guys see how many other clients are on this site??????? ALOT of you guys so can you understand that PROVIDERS are not robots or blow-up dolls, we do have LIVES outside of the hobby world. PLEASE UNLESS YOU ARE PAYING like YOU ARE WEIGHING then that should be the only reason you are demanding appts, or for a provider to answer your pm or text.

However...this opens another can of "you want to be treated like a professional then act like one" diatribe. Again, you own your business and can be successful with it or not - your choice entirely - but I work in an industry where if I don't answer a question/email/phone call/etc within a 24 hour period, a patient will potentially die. When I send someone an email (even on Eccie), I don't care if they have seen me before or not, I expect a response. If somebody doesn't want to see someone, that's fine, but the rules of business and professionalism dictate that you answer them and politely decline. If your Showcase is active, then you actually are expected to respond in some fashion (even with a fuck off) within a day. It's really not that difficult. Again, if you want to be viewed as a professional there is no skirting or sidestepping or "picking and choosing" which rules of business ethics you decide to employ.
MY REGULARS ALWAYS COME FIRST, and when I say regulars I MEAN THE ONES THAT SEE ME TWO to THREE TIMES A MONTH get whatever appt time they want. I am not NEWBIE FRIENDLY so please stop asking me to see you if you are fresh on the site with no reviews.

ALSO..... the last time I checked I was considered a independent provider meaning I SEE WHO I WANT, WHEN I WANT. I can turn down appts if I want. I CAN REFUSE SERVE TO ANYBODY IF I WANT...... so threatening that your gonna give a bad review, does nothing to me, the clients that have seen me know how I am. So please GENTLEMEN act like you have some kind of manners when contacting me through pm or text. BE A LITTLE CONSIDERATE If you have sent me a PM when I have time I will get back to you.

If you are going to take time off, let your clients know. Announce your vacay (or not) but at least shut your Showcase off while you are gone. While you are in town and are actively working and such, you really should respond (in some capacity) to those that are sending you inquiries, even if you are sending a "thanks but no thanks" email.
The purpose of my response is certainly not to call any one (provider or client) out. I just felt a soap box moment coming on and wanted to vent about this. No one should ever be threatened, especially a provider, period. I treat my lady friends here with the utmost of respect at all times, whether I am with them or not (I would hope some of them would give a shout out that I'm not full of shit.)
At any rate, I hope everyone has a wonderful rest of the day and an even better continuation of the week!
