This was one of the reasons I upgraded from a 3 to a 5 and I LOVE this feature! It works fantastic! Gets a little iffy if my thumb is wet but if that happens you can still enter a manual code to unlock. The print recognition also works in the iTunes store as well, so you don't have to enter your password every time you buy something.

I just want to point out that Macs can still get viruses and slowed down by bloatware. The symptoms can also be less obvious.

I picked up the Asus, as it was a larger machine than my MacBook Pro. And it was cheap. Quad core i7 processor and 8 gb of ram for 650. I use it to run Autocad.
