That said, at least the school (and the dorm that I lived in, all on Lake Shore Drive) were easy to get to from my home in St. Louis; I just got on I-55 North and it was a straight shot on 55 to LSD, and north to my school.

*At least I got to cut class on occasion to attend Cardinals-Cubs games at Wrigley, and my proudest achievement of that period was to wear a Cardinals cap in the bleachers at Wrigley and surviving to tell that tale.

Anyway, back to the original topic at hand, Little Rock. With Little Rock being considered one of the most dangerous mid-sized cities in the US (per capita) it would make sense to me that you would have better odds of getting raped, robbed, stabbed and/or your head blown off right here. I love my life and I don't take any chances with it
Not downtown. Ate at the flying fish by the rivermarket last week nice area.just avoid everything south of i630 from i30 to university ave. Also baseline and most of southwest lr.
Bluffcityguy..I've always been a cards fan.those cubbies are actually winning this year.lol

With the resulting high draft picks, Theo's been able to amass monster amounts of talent (focused primarily on hitting); so of course they're winning. We saw that over the horizon and headed towards us oh, about 2011 or so.

But your .sig suggests you're planning to visit Memphis soon... LR ranks 16th most dangerous, and Memphis 6th most dangerous according to this ranking:

Good lord, I started this thread solely for the purpose of obtaining advice from people who know the Downtown area much better than myself and I can clearly see that it is going nowhere fast. I have the information I need and find this thread to no longer be relevant. Hope everyone has a lovely day
