I'll explain about the unenforceability of contract that are void as against public policy if you want me to, but I don't recommend litigation on this one and I certainly will not take it on a contingent fee.

What should I do?

Litigate? (TTH, what's your number?)

Try to reach a reasonable resolution with the other party?

If a 3rd party offers a "free session" take it?

Chalk it up to experience and move on, pissed off as I am?

or some combination of the above? Originally Posted by atlcomedy

Hmmm.... well... absent more info than is your right to withhold at this point... I'd say the following....

If it rises to the level of "Alert"... say it...

If not... then.. talk to the lady in question & see if there is some direct resolution.

If the two of you can't work it out then all you can really do is chalk it up to experience. Make it clear to her that you won't be seeing her again & if anyone asks your opinion of her that you won't be able to give a favorable view.

About the only other alternative is something I don't even know exists behind the looking glass - hobby ADR. Find somebody else you BOTH trust to mediate the dispute.
