Look what else someone just wrote me..un fucking beleiveable

Rachel Lynn posted on the last two days of ASPD that she was leaving the business. She also mentioned that someone had hacked her PC and had gotten access to all of her accounts she used for escorting. These guys were supposedly going over her contacts from her clients and whatever personal info they had shared with RL and I think they were harassing the customers.

This is exactly the reason I dont post much on these boards. I thought it was an adult board. Sweetaterpie, very impressive post on here. You make me very proud to be associated with this board. Sure is a lot of childish behavior going on, on what is supposed to be an adult board.
All the freakin drama gueens around here. Me IQ is not at genius level but even at 70 this doesn't seem too hard to understand.

long pause........uuuuu.......

What is wrong or illegal about anyone buying a ticket to have a chance to spend time with their favorite gal or someone they have always wanted too?

When I lived in New York many organizations have charity auctions’ all the time where affluent men and women donate their money to have a dinner date with a star or hot model. The money is then donated on behalf in the stars/models name. So she claims the income and then writes it off as it was given to charity.

Let me make sure I understand the rules right so I don't get in trouble-

1. Any premium access member can buy a raffle ticket
2. Then there is a drawing of some sort
3. The winner takes all the mula
4. The winner then pics from one of the gals above to spend 12 hours with her
5. He is going to give his date a gift for this date/time.

I have not read anything about there being a requirement of any illegal activities. Is there a requirement? I haven't even seen an implication of such? Is there............

I also promise to the winner if you pick me you will not be getting CHEAP PUSSY at all!

I don't know you tell me is making 1000 to 2000 dollars a day to spend time with a nice person equates to cheap, manipulating or taking advantage of gal and her rates? How many people do you know make that much money a day! Yeah, we are being taken advantage of.

Men going in together to have their dream date which maybe they couldn't have otherwise.....is that being cheap or smart?

Hell, this sounds absolutely harmless and could be a lot of fun.

My doggie just died-I could use fun.....

Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, and finally Yes....You nailed it Angel Cross, this is all for fun with 2 objectives in mind from us Fellers:

1. Give A Regular Guy A Chance For An All-Night Adventure He Normally Could Not Afford.
2. Give The Ladies A Chance To Sign Up & Be Chosen By The Winner If She So Chooses.

That is pretty much it, if the Lady does not like the winner, she simply says "Pass" and he chooses the next Lady on the list he likes...all done and good :-)

That said, dang I hope I Win!!!

I really don't understand the attraction of a raffle.

Some people emphasize the element of bargain. Yes, if you win, you get a "prize" for much less than it would normally cost you. But the odds are that you won't win -- most people are going to throw in money and get nothing back. If the raffle ticket is only 1/50 of the normal price, but your odds of winning are 1/50, it's not really a bargain at all.

You see a lot of raffles by charities largely because someone, because it's for charity, will donate a prize that normally costs more than it might bring in a raffle. The charity doesn't have to worry, because they're not paying for it, it's donated. So the raffle ticket can be priced at only 1/100 of the normal price of the donated item, and if only 50 people buy raffle tickets, it's not a losing proposition for the charity. (Is that what this is really all about, organizing a raffle in hopes that the prospect of booking an overnight will encourage the ladies to submit low bids?)

Admittedly, some people like gambling. I don't play the state lottery (a/k/a "tax on people with poor math skills") or go to casinos in Vegas, but a lot of people do. The enjoyment of gambling might be a reason to participate, but there's no "bargain" to it, unless the raffle is used as leverage to extract price concessions from the ladies.

But if y'all want to participate, have at it.
sorry about your dog Angel Cross.
This something i could NEVER afford (unless i win the lottery), and the odds are a lot better!!!
a shot in the dark maybe, but damn would it be fun!!!!...worth a shot....no doubt.
lets have fun peeps.....geez.

Chevalier, the objective is not to get a "bargin" from a lady, she is marketing herself to the winner, the winner will use the funds for a provider for an evening, that he Could Not Afford unless he won this lottery, that's all.

Yes It Is Gambling
Yes, The Provider Gets To Give an Inticing "Offer" To The Winner
Yes, It Is Just Plain Fun For Those Who Choose To Enter
No Harm and No Foul If You Don't Want To Play-

I hope that is more clear my friend, we just want this to be enjoyable for the 2 winners on the board " The Hobbyist and the Provider" so we can do it again :-)
Chevalier I would 100% agree with how you think about this if I didn't believe that......

that many peeps like to gamble

that a lot of gals in the dallas area significantly reduce their overnight rates....maybe not a lot but i am 100% sure of this for several women. which makes complete sense to me. but i am just one lonely gal bored and stuck home today playing chat tag on here about really insignificant issues.

if i am the charity in this situation I have nothing to lose at all....

and i'd guess that most of the men who enjoy this lifestyle are not too worried about 5 to 50 dollars. it is probably worth it just for the laugh after reading all the post on this.
Plus one more added note. There is no "leverage" being used on the ladies. All the ladies in the raffle are volunteers and all have posted what their rates will be.No one is coming back at them and saying that is too high, etc.
In fact their proposals will only be seen by the winner so their is no chance of any of the guys saying"hey you went that low for the raffle".If someone did try this we would want the lady to tell the admins so they could be dealt with.
It is a way for all involved to have fun.Angel is right about the amount the guys are spending to enter. It's minimal to what I spend in a month hobbying.I entered because it seemed a fun thing to do.Nothing more.

By the way.I play the lottery and my math skills are just fine.Where else can you spend a dollar and have a chance at millions.Sure the odds suck but I don't do it thinking I have to win.I do it for fun.

To clarify: "leverage" as in, announcing the raffle and asking ladies to register, and a lady responding to the advertising and sign-up process by voluntarily offering something lower than her normal rate. The ladies know there will be someone out there with enough moola. And the sign-up process implicitly encourages ladies to offer a special because they are bidding against each other to be chosen by the winner. (Yes, they're always bidding against each other even in the absence of a raffle, but the raffle makes it more explicit, which probably means more ladies will do so.) Whereas, if the raffle were entirely UTR, and the winner gets $X and contacts his choice of ladies (without mentioning the existence of the raffle), she might be less willing to offer that special.

*shrug* I'm not condemning the use of leverage to negotiate a better deal. That happens in business all the time. It happens a lot in P4P, but as long as it doesn't cross the line into unethical coercion, the parties can look after their own interests. Neither am I condemning those who enjoy gambling. I don't, but most people do, or Las Vegas would be a ghost town.

We all looked at it as money we may not see, but it WAS suppose to bring some fun and excitement on the board, which it did for awhile. Hopefully after the winner gets their session and review we will see some of that back again. Heck I pay that amount of money on a date that I may never see again, meals, or drinks.

Chevalier I respect everything you write here and on your blog. You are thoughtful, concise and very thought provoking. Yes in the way you determined it some form of leverage was used, but not the kind of leverage that SweetAterPie used. Matter of fact I see it as more of the providers having fun competition in a "silent bid" against each other while also some of them being creative and showing their uniqueness.

Everyone has their opinion and all of them have now been duely noted. All parties both men and female have heard both. The intentions were pure from the start, the participants intentions are pure, and hopefully the conclusions will prove this. Somewhere in the middle everything got fuddled. In spite of all that the raffle is still going ahead full steam without a glitch. This is the first time to attempt this. Will there be issues........of course. But everything has been handles EXTREMELY well, even with all the obstacles, objections, and bad press from outsiders not involved.

All sides have been heard. Lets either enjoy the ride and have fun. If you think this is going to explode, then grab your drink, some popcorn, and watch the train wreck about to happen, because this train has a full head of steam and isn't stopping. Chooo! Choooo!
