Actually the "dickheads in Washington" were following the media's polling results with respect to the attitude of those "residents" polled with regard to the military effort. Historically as the military effort lost popularity the military effort was minimized.

So it's actually the "dickheads" roaming about the country making the most noise who are responsible for the continual U.S. standing down and withdrawal (if not retreat as in S.E. Asia with the support of lying pieces of shit like John Kerry).
