Envelopes

No envelopes for me. At least on a first visit I usually make a pit stop in the bathroom and "forget" the money on the bathroom counter. That way the ladies can count it in private if they wish. On a repeat visit I'll leave it somewhere closer to where the action is.

Before a date, I always take the time to pick out a nice card. I read the provider's profile and see if she likes a certain animal or flower and then try to find a suitable card that matches. It's a part of the ritual that I enjoy -- I am genuinely showing my appreciation for her.

I have received a number of compliments on this in the past and never a complaint. I suppose it is quite possible that some ladies did not like the card and just didn't think it prudent to complain. This thread does make me wonder if the gesture is unwanted for some ladies.

deuce22, i use to give cards quite a bunch, but now only give cards a few times.
one tip - dont sign it! that way she can reuse it if she wants.
if you do sign it, just put an initial or a heart or something, just not your hobby or real name.

I like the cards, I save them sometimes reuse and sometimes just get a giggle when I run across it again. Have a collection of envelopes, but they have come in handy if they are plain white. I have not purchased an envelope in 3 yrs. My all time fav was 6 $100 bills in a godiva chocolate box and 4 more in an additional godiva box. NOW THAT was some good chocolate.
