LOL. I swear India is taking over. Some actually speak pretty good English. I noticed that Indians have different accents. There's a specific kind that I just can't understand. It's the kind that over pronounces the "t" sound. It sounds like they are hitting a snare drum every time they pronounce a "t." I also don't like the repetitive use of filler words that some of them do. Only some of them are annoying to listen to. there are cover bands in places like Japan and other asain nations that can't speak english but they can sing American rock songs with a perfect American sounding voice.
i just bought "The Gentlemen" on amazon (Jeffy Bezos must die lol) and everyone in the cast is english except the big star himself Hey Hey Matty McConaughey. they wash over this by claiming he's an American living in England. some of the english cast even dial up their accents like Hugh Grant.
"The Gentlmen" is a great flick if you like "English Gangster" movies with an interesting way of presenting the plot. typical Guy Ritchie.
i find it strange that almost no american actor can mimick an english accent yet almost all english actors can easily do an american sounding voice.
two easy examples come to mind. one is Jamie Bamber from the great "BattleStar Galactic" redo series. you wouldn't know he's a brit by the way he spoke his dialogue. then listen to him in an English show where he uses his real voice. same with Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes in "The Walking Dead".
one thing that always cracks me up about indians is that they also flub up written English too. some odd transposition issue.
they'll write ..
"Please revert back to me".
of course they meant "reply". wtf do they write it that way?
