New Rhino sucks worse than old Rhino.

One small main stage: dancers do 2 songs. No side stages. Whole building downstairs and upstairs is set up to get customers into semi private booths, private cubicles, semi private areas upstairs and private rooms upstairs for dances and bottle service. No dances anywhere else. How much do those areas cost? We didn't ask because we were not interested.

We went there, each drank a $2.75 beer, finish it and left. We were there a total of 15 minutes max. The waitress gave us each 5-7 free cover passes. We left them at the table. Not planning to return.

By the way the dances at the old Rhino are now $30. $20 to the dancer and $10 to the house. Someone who was there recently told me that.

We went there the other day. We figure the first time we were there 2 weeks ago we caught them on a bad night. Maybe this time the place will be kicking.

Nope!

5 dancers. 3 waitresses standing at the bar doing nothing. Another 2 waitresses sitting at a table looking at their phones.


3 managers standing by the DJ booth doing nothing. No dancer on their single stage.


Only saw one customer sitting alone at a table in the corner in the back.





They been open 2 months and about a week. I am surprised they are still open.


Sure their overhead each month, paying for the location even if they own the building still cost money, I doubt they paid for the construction of the building in cash, had to be a loan, utilities, insurance, food and alcohol supply, payroll, all that adds up to a 5 digit figure each month.


No way they are making that to clear it and turn a profit each month.


Also the first month they were open in February, friends I know who went there said there were a lot of girls and they were hot.


Well we been there twice and both times they were only a handful of girls and they weren't hot.


All the hot girls that were there the first month left because they couldn't make money.

Good thing they put that club in a location where the non-Budweiser crowd tends to congregate.

I went there last week during the afternoon as I had some time to kill and I just found out about the place. Entry was affordable with a $5 cover and $2.50 beers. There seemed to be only 3 or 4 girls, but the quality was high. I would go back to knock out an hour, but that's about it. The club was very nice inside, and I assume it's better in the evenings, though probably quite pricey then too. VIP was very expensive, so I passed.

I only visited the original location back in the day after it first opened. I haven't revisited since, just wasn't my type of spot from what I recall. I know a stripper from another club that was also working at Rhino several years ago but said she was about to quit because of "too much fuckin and suckin" going on there. So I guess there were extras to be had there around that time at least, I have no idea about now.

Not to dis either one of these fine gents, but what is the reality here? lol

Shep went on a Friday night. On a Friday night almost any Dallas club will have a decent crowd and some decent looking girls.

It would be helpful to know the actual dates and times CG went. What CG describes is what 75% of the clubs in Dallas look like 75% of the time. It's only like after 10 on weekend nights or certain day/lunch rushes or drink special nights where it's not pretty dead everywhere.

Spearmint has always been a weekend club. They don't cater to beer sipping crowd.....

Last weekend Jillian Janson was the features dancer. I was impressed they were able to get a A list pornstar there.

Brooklyn Chase was there the week before and I believe Monique Alexander will be there this weekend.



I remember 20 years ago when I used to go see Tera Patrick at the Van Nuys location. there was always some hot pornstar dancing on the weekends.

When SR opened here it was my favorite for a while- really great girls - large club but broken up so that various places felt more comfortable and intimate. The dances were higher but the girls were worth it.
something happened and the place is a shit hole now in my opinion. the girls are nothing special. The place is trying to fleece you every turn. Management sucks. I would avoid it.

2 AA dancers stole my iphone there a few months ago. I know because I returned and saw one of them and she admitted it. I offered large cash reward for her to get it from friend NQA. She texted friend in front of me and friend refused scared she would get arrested. Mgmt did nothing.

If the place was on fire I wouldn’t even piss on it to help. Make sure to post reviews on tuscl.net and hopefully they’ll shut down. I wouldn’t go back for no cover, free booze and $5 dances.
