I volunteer to do the cooking! Some jalapeno peppers stuffed with cream cheese and green onion sausage wrapped in bacon! bbq brisket with slow cooked beans and a homemade potato salad! Can’t forget about the hot sausage as well. It would be some good!

I am new to the hobby so no references. But! I am in the food industry and can prove that easily and would be glad to share some tips on what to do for some great bbq! Just send a PM and I will give you some ideas!

try this it's great !
it's similar to the jack daniels sauce , but i think much better !

1 1/3 c Dark brown sugar
3 tbs Whiskey
2/3 c Water
1 c Pineapple juice
3 tbs white onion; Minced
1 tbs Crushed pineapple
1/4 c Kikkoman teriyaki sauce
1 tbs Soy sauce
1 tbs olive oil
3 tbs Lemon juice
1/3 tsp Cayenne pepper

1. Combine water, pineapple juice, teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, and brown sugar in a medium saucepan over medium/high heat. Stir occasionally until mixture boils then reduce heat until mixture is just simmering.

2. Add remaining ingredients to pan and stir.

3. Let mixture simmer for 35-45 minutes or until sauce has reduced by about 1/2 and is thick and syrupy. Make sure it doesn't boil over. Makes 1 cup of glaze.

I used this mustard sauce this weekend when I smoked a Boston Butt. Fantastic!

  • 1 cup prepared yellow mustard
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne
I added a pinch of red pepper flakes and thought it made all the difference in world.
