Also there are some Congress persons donating some or part of their donations to charities.

From what I see donations were given to crypto and environmental focused candidates/PACS regardless of party ties.

Take away the ludicrous notion of money being laundered through FTX to anyone (ping Betty White) and we're left with the framework of donations to political candidates, which was arguably built by by the GOP.

The BTC and ETH address that received donations are public addresses. It's not hard to view the on-chain data and see where it ends up. With the amounts that people can legally give, the risk/reward to do what has been suggested just isn't there.
