So this isn’t xenophobic anymore???

You have to intentionally bury your head in the sand and insist on ignoring the facts to end up with that conclusion.

The material differences have been laid out for you on page 1 and you have produced zero refutation.

You are wrong yet again.

No difference between what Trump did and what Senile Biden is now doing. It really is laughable to watch people make excuses for the comments Senile Biden made and his pure hypocrisy. But I guess that is par for the course with some

Thanks for proving my point, Trump's ban did nothing in stopping the spread of the virus. it was only showmanship, to make it look like he was doing something Originally Posted by jmichael

i find it amusing that you and other posters continue to claim Trump "botched" the covid response when he did exactly what other nations did.

"He didn’t ban travel from China. He restricted it. Dozens of countries took similar steps to control travel from hot spots before or around the same time the U.S. did."

so which is it? those other nations were correct in their response which was not a total ban but a restriction? there is only one correct answer. if you claim Trump was wrong to restrict travel (not totally ban, no country did that) then every other nation was also wrong.

none of it mattered by then anyway. covid had already escaped the genie's bottle.

I don't think you're going to find someone here that's going to claim any of the efforts to contain COVID were perfect and that all were varying levels of flawed.

But we're not discussing effective or ineffective as much as this is supposed to be about xenophobia. And Trump's efforts and messaging were clearly xenophobic.

The difference between the two approaches and why one is clearly xenophobic has already been laid out. The extremely weak attempt to create a false equivalency has also been laid bare.

how exactly is that xenophobic?

If you can't see why, you're actively choosing not to see why.

False equivalencies instead of a real answer mean we have nothing left to discuss.
