Being a mid 40s AA male, i remember a time when interacial hook ups were less common (accepted?) than they are now. I lived in Nevada for a bit in the mid eighties and went to the "World Famous" Chicken Ranch where I was denied service due to my race. I was told the only girls who would do black guys was off and that I had to go. the biggest thing that pissed me off was it was a long drive in a rental from vegas that was wasted but if that's a girl's preference i don't harber hard feelings about it. But from that experience, I always let a provider know ahead of time, before we even meet my race so there isn't any confusion or uncomfortable moments.

Texasfeet, I can certainly empathize. Its good not to give a lady any surprises she might not go for. For example, I usually state how cheap I am upfront. Its cool that you didnt get defensive and testy too. Stereotypes exist for a reason, and the only way to stop it is to not conform to a stereotypical behavior.

But back to the topic at hand here. I know black girls who won't see black hobbyists. It seems providers are less likely to be attacked or shortchanged by white dudes.

I too have been stereotyoed; a couple lovely Latin ladies told me they thought I was a cop because I was white! They hardly ever see white dudes for fear of being arrested, they told me.
