In NV it is only legal in counties with under 700,000 population, and then only in licensed brothels. That rules out the independent ladies we so much enjoy. It is designed so only a few people have control over it. It keeps prices inflated, and services limited. I tried a few brothels in NV. None were anywhere near as good as the service I have received from 'illegal' independent ladies.I agree with you hands down!
Government will support 'pride' and allow gays to mimic sexual acts in public parades. There are rainbows on public crosswalks, but the same people who promote that would freak out if we asked to have a crosswalk that said something like 'support your local hooker' or 'tolerate prostitution' or 'escorts are people too'. Try organizing an Escort Parade and see what happens! Try having an escort story hour! Not saying we should have that, but pointing out the hypocrisy.
I am afraid if prostitution is legalized, it will come with so many rules that most will choose to ply their trade illegally. I like being able to communicate with ladies I find attractive, and be able to meet with them, and participate in whatever we both find pleasing. That way we make our own choices. We meet in private and are not pushing our activities on anyone else.
If it were legal for girls to be truly independent and not be subject to brothel rules, I would be for legalizing it. But government would want to control it all, and they would find ways to add taxes. Government can't keep its money grubbing hands off anything. Plus, they would want all the information about the ladies that ladies need to keep private. How many ladies want to be on a government list of prostitutes? How many of us would want to have our ID recorded to see them?
Over a hundred years ago, most towns had a section of town where madams kept houses. From what I gather, it was pretty much pay, stick it in, hurry up. Not much in the way of intimate encounters like I have become accustomed to with reputable internet providers.
Those houses arose from some bad advice magazines were giving women back in the Victorian era. They would convince them sex was only for the purpose of having children, and after that wives should wean their husbands from having sex. Husbands needed an outlet, so naturally madams provided for that need. From what I hear, a lot of women still don't want to have sex with their husbands, when they should be encouraging and enjoying it. Then they act shocked if they find out hubbie is seeing other women!
