Whether the crime rate goes back up depends greatly on the judicial system.Actually 90% of Dems / Libs agree with all of this. It's ppl who minimize crimes by simply the cost of incarceration and suggest no cash bail or ROR for violent offenders. Sorry Charlie, the clink awaits !!
The majority of the crimes are committed by repeat offenders. Eliminate no cash bail and don't go light on sentencing, and the crime rate hopefully will stay low.
This may also make others think twice about committing a crime when they see that they will not just get a "slap on the wrist". Originally Posted by Iceman
Sadly there's probably 5% or so that are bleeding hearts, and don't want to see a specific demographic of overpopulation in the penitentiary systems.
Me- I always say "don't do the crime if you can't do the time."
