I completely agree, way over the top IMHO. Especially coming from someone that is a supposed savvy experienced monger with zero reviews.

As far as Lila’s contact info, both her email addy & phone # are on her bio page. So, there’s that.

You have every right to conduct your bizz how you see fit, so you do you. But, I’d just like to point out a couple of things.

- Your donation amount seems fair enough, but you’re an unknown commodity and no one knows anything about your actual menu since you don’t have any reviews. Maybe offer up a review special until you can get a few reviews under your belt?

- Regarding you needing a website, I don’t agree that it’s needed. You have a decent start on your bio page on here. You can always add plenty more pics on there and I believe (Mods can correct me if I’m wrong), you can post your itinerary/travel dates/locations there. I would suggest you do so to stop the confusion regarding when and where you’re going to be. Not saying you shouldn’t build a website, most well known quality providers have one, but focusing on completing your bio page first would be my suggestion and then go from there.

- Requiring a deposit: Again, you do you, but the mass majority of fellas are not going to pay a deposit due to many mongers being scammed in the past. Not saying you would do that, but again, you don’t have any reviews, are still an unknown and most fellas are just not gonna pay a deposit regardless.

- Your screening process: Even more mongers are going to be more uncomfortable with your requirement of their DL than the deposit, even with the ability to black out the majority of the info on it as you state is ok to do. This hobby is about discretion and most fellas need that discretion due to having a SO. Hell, I’m single, no kids, retired and I’m not willing to send the info you’re asking for. Think for just a second about this. Would you be willing to send your DL info your asking for to the fellas interested in seeing you? Maybe consider requiring two provider references (which is the norm for the most part) instead from the fellas from providers they’ve seen. Most providers are willing to give references for fellas they’ve seen and will usually respond fairly quickly.

I do wish you the best, and hope you do well, but keep in mind that discretion in this hobby goes both ways.

A savvy, street-smart monger intuitively knows ... that a provider who has a well-thought-out website with an intro page, a photo spread, a teaser video, a Q & A page, an etiquette page, a screening page and a contact page ... shows a level of professionalism and commitment to her craft ... that other providers who lack the wherewithal to do so ... do not have!
By virtue of having a professional website ... a provider has distinguished herself from her competitors!
(It's a form of branding!)
