Question? Pimps vs Escort Agencies

True Pimps engage in other crimes besides just running prostitues. You'll often find them involved in Gun Running, Narcotics, Money Laundering and Illegal Gambling operations. Straight up Escort Agencies aren't known to associate with these other illegal activities. Originally Posted by acp5762

What of the for a better word administrative person. As I understand this is some one that does the scheduling, screening and arranging? I have no problem with this set up except if I call I want to talk to the provider. I will not text with a provider before I have met her. I found on two occasions that I was texting with her BF. As I think back over the years and associations with those known to have pimps, most are younger, have had no real life experience other than the hobby or working in a strip club and there is a host of other issues. Chief among them is an extremely low self-image, even though they may be beautiful and have extremely hot bodies.

But going there could make the thread digress into multiple psychological issues. Frankly, if someone wants to come lay on my couch, I have ideas of more fun things to do on the couch other than discuss daddy abandoment issues.

I think this side of the business is so disgusting. I have absolutely no tolerance for pimps or their "supposed" victims. Very recently I was given the opportunity to witness the spectacle first hand and I can honestly say that I no longer have any sympathy for the providers who KNOWINGLY place themselves in the situation. Anyone trying to "rescue" the poor, lost provider will only cause themselves much frustration and anxiety. Also, the pimps generally don't appreciate outsiders trying to influence their property... IJS.

Makes me wonder why you would talk down about the poor lost provider, or your situation? How did you get yourself in it and then out and say that you were trying to rescue a provider? You were once that girl who talked to a pimp or had a pimp?

Something I have never understood! What is the difference of pimp-agency-boyfriend when most people in the business end up paying someone. Guess I'm a lucky girl because mine is excellet to me and respects me, not like some pimps who leave their girls in hotels rooms to live in and keeps the girls on drugs! Now that's bad business.

I have worked for pimps,agencies, and now independent. I have been in this for over 6 years I have seen the good the bad and the ugly. In my experience there are good and bad agencies, pimps, and boyfriends. I worked for an agencies for almost 2 1/2 years on the coast of Ms. They where the most cut throat people I have ever meet in my life. On one of there calls things went very bad and I got hurt they did nothing about it and still wanted there part of the $. The agency was only concerned with one thing where was there money and trying to send you to the next call. At least a pimp or a boyfriend would go get those creeps that hurt you. Who am I to judge what works for a provider. I have been on all sides of this business and think you should do what works for you!!! Each to there on. What ever works best for you no matter if it's a pimp, agency, boyfriend or being independent. That is not for me to judge which one is better then the other. I have experienced good things and bad things in all of them.

I watched a documentary last night about pimps & I started to wonder. With all the control pimps exert over his "hoes" do people still believe an escort agencies are just as bad?

My argument is this: agencies don't "recruit" ladies, especially minors.
Agencies don't take all their $.
Agencies don't keep their ladies in their sight at all times.
Agencies don't slave drive or force women to work. They work by choice.

However:

I can see how the two are similar in other ways. Any thoughts?

My biggest complaint on agenices is when they give a description of a lady, their usually WAY OFF! Up-selling was never really an issue from an agency girl. The client never knows what he's gonna get when using an agency unless you've seen a girl multiple times.

In the past I would talk to ladies who worked for an agency and would ask them if I could see them while "cutting out the middle man" (the agency). An overwhelming number of women would agree and I think I only had one that said, "no call the agency if you want to see me." I think she was pimp controlled to say the least. I'd much rather give a woman everything vs. having a 3rd party involved! BTW, I don't see agency girls anymore. That ended a long time ago.

It seems as if agencies are for ladies just starting out in the hobby and don't know much about the game, cause if they did, they wouldn't be there! It doesn't make any sense for a woman to be under the thumb of a pimp. Sadly to say women will continue to be pimped by men and women and I don't see that changing anytime soon! Times have changed though since the days of the internet and so has hobbying evolved!

I agree Mr. Chan, as long as I get the part of the chicken I want and don't get a fork in the back of my hand if the lights go out I will enjoy the meal and leave.

All is well until you have to deal with the pimp. The pimp feels like he has to retain control and if you do any thing that may offend him he will let you know.
