And I'm not here to defend Romney. I've said that over and over, but Doofie doesn't listen. I want to see Obama defeated, because I think he is the biggest threat to liberty our country has faced in years. I wish there were a better, viable option than Romney, but there isn't.

As usual you get it wrong. Where did he say it was OK to lie? Offering an explanation for something you consider to be a premeditated lie doesn't mean an explanation is an endorsement for that behavior.

I hate to disappoint you on a holiday, Munchie, but I'm feeling better and happier than I have in years. Life is going well, even though Obama is turning us into a police state. But you did know, didn't you, that the government CAN "force you" to buy broccoli or anything else it wants just by offering a big tax break to those who buy it which, of course, is denied to those who don't buy it. Same as a "tax" or "penalty" for not buying something. Where was the outrage over "cash for clunkers" since that program was an effective $ transfer from those who did not trade in a clunker for a new car to those who *did* trade in a clunker for a new car ? Same thing as the Obamacare "mandate." The govt has been doing this stuff for years.
