If you were to draw a line defining West Texas it would be approximately 105,000 sq miles. Making it the 8th largest state in the US. It would help to know what city your provider is in.

I've never been to west Texas! I do know that east Texas is the same way. One can never know exactly where you are in the piney woods.

Same deal with North and ETX, it wraps around from Wichita Falls over and down to Beaumont.

Maybe Someone needs to suggest sub forums.... Just a thought! (with the one post per 7 days it gets a wee bit difficult)
