Omahan leaving the ECCIE Staff

Omahan, thanks for all of your volunteer work done for our benefit.

Hey Omahan,
I’ve been off the board for a while for reasons I’ll explain below, but I did want to thank you for your service both here and at ASPD. I appreciate the time and advice you gave and thought you did a very good job overall.
I still laugh about the points you gave me a year ago in April at ASPD over Executive Wall Street when I got into his shit. I deserved the points but I’m glad he left ASPD over that incident. I guess it was a happy ending for me.
To all:
I’ve been away from the board and the hobby because of a new small, with emphasis on the small, business that I’ve added to what I do. Plus, I am in the mainstream some.
I had a wonderful visit at my home in the boondocks from Taylor Sweet the other day and I thought that if I’m too busy to f**k, maybe I’m too busy. I hadn’t seen her for 5 or 6 months and I believe absence makes the dick grow harder.
I’m still around. Mr. Boiler is still around, although in semi-retirement.
There is an open brothel, Little Darlings, in New Orleans. Life’s good.

Oh good lord! Is this another one of those "I'm leaving...but I'm not really leaving" threads? Didn't Bubba and DD just do this last month? I swear, I've never seen so many brown noses in my whole life. Oddly, BottomFeederKC hasn't posted in this thread at all...not sure what that means.

Actually my dear Longer......I didn't say I was leaving the staff. I simply said I was taking some time off....a vacation if you will. Omahan had to the good sense to leave. If you are going to take shots at people at least try to be accurate!

While we are at it Longer.....help me understand how people saying they appreciate Omahan's contribution to the board is brown nosing? I have always been under the impression the purpose of "brown-nosing" was to reap some kind of gain. He is no longer on the staff so what do these "brown-nosers" have to gain by saying nice things to/about him. Again, if you are going to accuse people of something please try to be a bit more on point.

Whether you like it or not Longer, people appreciate Omahan's contribution to ECCIE. That doesn't mean everyone always agreed with him (that comes with the job) but they do appreciate the time and effort. Not sure why that is so hard to understand.

Omahan best of luck to you ! Your fair even handeness as a moderater will be missed. If we are lucky, maybe like a rockstar you will come out of retirement for another tour of duty in the future... Till then take care and most importantly ENJOY !
