Major Baseball Trade

Cruz's cost the Rangers a World Series victory because of his 'skills' in the outfield. I would have ditched him during the winter following that year's World Series.

NearHauteRed, 5th wheel in the sense that there is one too many. He's surplus baggage with a young, cheap alternative like Profar around.

98% of the jerseys I see people wearing are Kinsler's, maybe the rangers will offer a trade or refund for those fans like the patriots did for Hernandez jerseys

guess who the angels got?

The Angels got a significant upgrade at 3B trading away one of the 4 CF they had on their roster. Freese gets to play with Pujols again and Bourjos actually will get to play!

But he has a bad back, the upgrade might not be too great.
Freese can't hit a good curve ball. Mistake curve balls yes, but a good curve ball, never.

I have to hand it to St Louis, they are not stupid and Freese, while he is an upgrade over what they had at 3B, he will collect his fat checks and join his former ex teammate on the DL. I think the Angels is the team that, unlike the Yankees, who also spend big bucks on big name free agents, players go to go through the motions and cash those big game checks. I bet when Freese was hurt, they saw they could do just fine without him and they have all those middle infielders, even signing Peralta, they will move one of those guys to third and will probably be better especially with Bourjos in CF moving Jay to RF to replace Beltran and his 13M goes off their books.
