The Dallas Cowboys and NFL 2022 Season

Um.. Anyone want to talk about the Cowboys?

I think they win convincingly on Monday. Simply based on history, they tend to really step it up immediately after an embarassing defeat.

That defense needs big improvement though. Remember after Game 2, how many were saying they may have one of the greatest defenses ever? I get that they lost Trevon Diggs, but there's a lot more to the story.

It will be embarassing for them to lose to the 2-2 L.A. Chargers. Only 2 teams are undefeated right now. San Francisco and Philadelphia, both 5-0, both in the NFC. If Dallas does make it the playoffs 13 weeks from now, they will need to go through those 2 teams and especially Philadelphia which is in the same East division.

Yeah.. that 49er game should be a wake up call for the entire team. Things have to change or else, even if we do make the playoffs, its going to be another early exit. If we make it past the wild card round (depending on who we would play), it will be Semis exit yet again. Think we also need to make some moves. Obviously QB would not be a move we make just because of his contract and I think he has a no trade clause... but maybe get a RB. Pollard is proving he cant be a #1 and needs someone else to share it with. Maybe pick up Fournette. Broncos might be having a fire sale... try getting Surtain to help fill the void Diggs left. The "Texas Coast Offense" aint it either.. that has to go.

Wow! San Francisco lost 19-17 today to the Cleveland Browns in the Dawg Pound:

Philadelphia is the only undefeated team left and they are currently leading the NY Jets 7-3 in the 2nd quarter.

Romo was good, better than Dak at this point in Dak's career but he was never great.

That was not a pretty win by any means, but a win is a win. Ill take it. Still need a lot of improvements on both sides of the ball. We have to clean up the damn penalties. We have 2 weeks to make some changes and get people in line. I still think we need a big back. I wouldnt mind trading for Pitts maybe... would love to make a move for Surtain II. Bland was getting cooked tonight.. we were able to escape those thankfully.. but we need someone better out there.

I gave up on them at halftime, despite the tie score. I did not want them ruining the good vibes I felt watching the Rangers take Game 2.

Both teams started out fairly okay at the beginning of the first quarter.

Their offense each got a TD to tie the game 7-7.

Then either both offense fell apart and couldn't produce any TD until they each scored a TD again the 4th quarter or both team's defense woke up and started playing decently.

Dallas has a bye week and won't play again until the 29th when they host the other Los Angeles team, the 3-3 Rams.

Houston Texans actually won too Sunday to finally get to 50% 3-3.

The Texans also have a bye week and will go to Carolina on the 29th to play the 0-6 Panthers. That should be a GIVEN WIN for Houston but knowing the Texans, they always find ways to screw themselves.
The way Carolina has been playing, yeah that should be a win for the Texans. I dont know.. Texan's seem to be figuring things out with CJ at the helm. Maybe they getting away from that stereotype... only time will tell lol. If nothing else, Texans fans can get a bit excited since CJ seems to be handling the transition to the NFL well. Top 5 in passing yards and they are figuring out how to win.

Cowgirls fans showing their lack of class fighting Chargers fans.

I expect Chargers fans to lack class because they are from California and Los Angeles, the bastion of stupidity and brainless sheep.

But Cowgirls fans should behave better; after all Jerry Jones say they are America's team.
