Get your Nerd on! (And I'll form... the head!)

Oh yeah, I've heard really good things about the Dark Tower series in general, but never got around to reading it since I'm not super familiar with King's works and feel I wouldn't be getting the full experience out of the little easter eggs that are supposed to be in the series. The good thing is many of them have been adapted into cinematic form so if you like the films the stories are even better. Everyone knows that he wrote It, The Stand, Christine, Salem's Lot (one of my personal favs) and Carrie; on the other hand people don't immediately think of him when they think of Shawshank Redemption, Stand by Me, and the Green Mile, all of which he wrote.

The Dark Tower was his opus, definitely one of his most tedious efforts. It was the skeleton of an unfinished transcript that he never forgot about and when time came, he breathed life into.

In essence, give it a try! I think you'll like it.

Shawshank and Green Mile... Oh some do! Excellent books and flicks. His horror books have been much harder to translate to film.

It's a daunting endeavor that depresses me every time I consider reading the Dark Tower, heh.

Anyone else care to share their thoughts on the scene at the 1:45 mark.
He's talking to Jor-El out in space. Not from the Fortress of Solitude. So do they change it so now olde Pa got Phantom Zoned. Is the Fortress an old Kryptonian ship he'll later ground on earth. The questions.... the questions... Originally Posted by Dorian Gray

However, her porn just does absolutely nothing for me. Very odd.

On another note, my buddy and I were talking about Man of Steel the other day.

We're both hoping to see Luthor in the movie helping the government develop weapons against Zod, then get injured in a battle between Supes & Zod. Post-credits scene, you see Luthor with his hair falling out laughing maniacally.

Man, DC should totally hire me to write this shit for them.
I always thought she had beautiful facial features.....I found a new website that i want all sorts of things off of...thinkgeek.com here is a example of some of the things they have.
